Pine Gully Pet Retreat – Terms and conditions
- All dogs under one year old, except when exempt by a veterinarian, must have received at least two vaccinations for Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper and Hepatitis (core vaccinations)
- All dogs, regardless of age, except when exempt by a veterinarian, must have a current vaccination against Canine Kennel Cough
- It is recommended that all dogs aged one year and above, except when exempt by a veterinarian, have a current core vaccination.
- Any dog without these vaccinations may be refused entry into the kennels. Any dogs accepted into the kennels without current vaccinations will be at the owners risk and the owner will be required to sign a separate form acknowledging their understanding of the risk to their dog.
- Dogs should be wormed and have a flea treatment prior to arriving at the kennels. If we need to treat your dog for fleas and worms you may be charged an extra fee to cover costs.
- In the event of a medical emergency the owner gives Pine Gully Pet Retreat authority to seek veterinary attention. Any veterinary costs shall be solely the owners responsibility.
- On veterinary recommendation, the owner consents to euthanasia should it be deemed necessary. The owner gives consent for an autopsy to be undertaken, at their expense, to ascertain the cause of death if it is not known.
- Fees are charged on a per day basis, therefore the day of arrival and the day of departure are charged as a full day unless the dog/dogs are picked up before 10am. Payment can be made via EFTPOS, Credit Card, Cash, or Internet Banking.
- The owners are required to provide all information concerning special diets, medication and behavioural issues that may pose a risk to their own dog, or to other dogs on the premises.
- While Pine Gully Pet Retreat, and their staff, will take all reasonable care, they cannot be held responsible for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to the dog, their toys, collars, and/or bedding.
- Pine Gully Pet Retreat reserves the right to refuse admission of any dog, the reason for the refusal shall be provided to the owner.
